Create & manage an organization
Organizations let a group collaborate under one workspace with governed API access and role-aware usage evidence. A tenant may have one member. This page covers creating an organization, inviting members, and day-to-day management.
Public signup creates or joins an organization. A single member is enough; there is no separate personal product.
Create an organization
Open the organization name at the top of the sidebar, then choose Add organization. Enter a name and confirm. Where deployment policy permits creation, this action is available even with a single membership. The creator becomes the owner and the new organization becomes active.
The same menu contains Organization settings for the active tenant. Organization choices appear when you belong to multiple tenants and switching is enabled. A deployment may restrict creation or switching.
Creating an organization does not start billing. You can invite members first and subscribe when the organization is ready. See Organization billing.
Invite members
From [organization name] → Organization settings → Invite member:
- Enter the invitee’s email address.
- Choose a role: Member, Admin, or Owner (see Members, roles & invites).
- Send the invite.
Invitees receive an email with a link. They sign in (or create a Steinkauz AI account) and accept the invite to join the organization.
Accept an invite
If you receive an organization invite:
- Open the link in the email.
- Sign in to Steinkauz AI if you are not already.
- Accept the invite to join the organization.
After accepting, the organization appears in your organization switcher. Switch to it to work in that workspace.
Switch between organizations
Open the organization name at the top of the sidebar and select another organization. Switching returns you to Overview with the new tenant’s connections, policies, keys, usage and entitlements. If a page has unsaved changes, resolve the confirmation before switching.
Manage an existing organization
Organization owners and admins can manage members and pending invites from [organization name] → Organization settings:
- View current members and their roles
- Change roles or remove members (within permission rules)
- Revoke pending invites
Organization deletion is not available in the current release. Contact support if you need to retire an organization.
Usage visibility in organizations
Members see their own usage. Owners and admins can review team usage metadata; owners can also inspect retained request content where authorized. File bodies and public conversation sharing are not part of the Platform.
